Review: Bling Your Band
I’m really excited to tell you about Bling Your Band!
Lil Bit is being treated for Deformational Plagiocephaly caused by Congenital Torticollis. (due to prenatal drug exposure, his jaw, neck & shoulder muscles were very tight, causing him to look over his right shoulder for the 1st 5 months of his life, causing a flat spot on his right rear quarter panel). In addition to Physical Therapy for Torticollis, the treatment for Plagiocephaly is a Cranial Remolding Band (helmet).
The card has links to detailed application instructions for the decals and the Mod Podge, complete with photos.
The Mod Podge is recommended because without it, the decals can start to lift or fade – the more the baby moves, the more friction on the decal, the more important the Mod Podge. I actually didn’t worry about it because Lil Bit really wasn’t moving around much when we started with the helmet. I should have.
But, there’s an easy solution – Bling Your Band will reprint your decal for…
No kidding! If you need a new decal for any reason, you can have it reprinted for just shipping plus a penny.
But take my word for it – just use the Mod Podge in the first place and save yourself the hassle!
Hint: It has recently come to my attention that not all of my readers can easily tell when I’m being sarcastic. That is truly unfortunate, so finding a solution was imperative. ^Obviously, the easiest answer is to assume that if something can be read with sarcasm, it should be;^; but that’s not really workable, I guess. After reviewing several options for a “sarcasm font”, I’ve come up up with my own system. Whenever you see italics inside carrots (^snark^), that is my “sarcasm font”.
